Jejung and Yuchun from Tohoshinki, who walked out from the colourful music world.
The new single "COLORS ~Melody and Harmony~" is Jejung and Yuchun's duet song during "4th LIVE TOUR 2009 ~The Secret Code~ FINAL in TOKYO DOME," which was sung together with 50,000 fans under a warmhearted atmosphere. What is the meaning behind this song? Let’s find out.
Q: How did you compose songs?
YC: My own way of composing, ai~ (sighs) I normally compose during my bouts of loneliness. The melody of that song ("COLORS~") was one of Jejung's creations, which was really good (the melody). Therefore, I asked Jejung hyung, "Let’s complete this together?"
JJ: During that time, Yuchun came looking for me and said, "The melody done by you is really beautiful~ Let’s work on it?" I said, "Okay~"
YC: Luckily, he didn’t say "NO!"
JJ: I wouldn’t say that kind of thing. (laughs)
YC: Very warm-hearted ah, Jejung hyung~
Q: The idea of inserting the 'rap' was by Yuchun?
YC: Because I’m capable of doing everything. (laughs) Just kidding~ (laughs)
JJ: But personally, I think Yuchun is a rap expert.
YC: Really?
JJ: Yes, really.
YC: Ai ya~ Is it? (laughs)
JJ: I was the one who thought of inserting the rap part, and I asked for his help. "Yuchun ah~ Please include a rap in this song~ RAP~”
YC: It's impossible to reject Jejung hyung. (laughs)

[NEWS] New Single "Break Out"
091029 New Song "Break Out" will be released in Japan!
New Song's Title: "BREAK OUT!!"
It is revealed on October 28th, 2009, that TVXQ will take charge of the main theme song of "Break Out!" which will be used at NHK's New Drama Series, "Tomehane (Let us jump together)! Suzusato High School, Calligraphy Club". (The Drama will start to air on January 7th, 2010; 8 PM on Thursdays.)
It is the first time for TVXQ to sing the theme song in Japanese production work of NHK. They sang "Beautiful You", the theme song of the historical Korean Drama, "The Legend", broad casted at NHK (2007-2008).
NHK chose TVXQ because they are:
"The group which has the most power right now (by NHK). TVXQ participated last year's "Kohaku Utagassen, (Red and White New Year's Music Special by NHK)"; they also performed two nights in Tokyo Dome very successfully."
The song will be a light pop music. It is connected to the story line of the drama, which displays the love story and the competition of the small calligraphy club at the High school.
"Grab your own future, be positive and keep on going, then your destiny will become bright! It is all up to you!" That kind of message is included in this theme song. TVXQ's leader Yunho (23) said, "That will be nice if we could support young people who are trying their best to achieve their dreams in their lives."

091116 Predictions for This Year's Kouhaku
This is, NHK's Kouhaku will be celebrating its 60th birthday. The program is finalizing the list of artists whom they will invite to this important event.
Last week, Inoue Yousui, an influential figure in the Japanese music scene, has made his predictions on this year's choices of Kouhaku. So far, it is confirmed that Yoshida Takurou, Nakashima Miyuki, Matsutouya Yumi [T/N: all famous old-time singers] will be participating.
Yazawa Eikichi (60) is also expected to participate in this event, since his CM and concert have become such a hot topic this year.
In addition, Southern All Stars' Hara Yuko, Fukuyama Masaharu, and Amuro Namie are also expected to come to this year's Kouhaku.
"We request for Amuro Namie to perform at NHK's biggest hall, Studio 101, instead of the usual NHK Hall," said her representative.
We also expect to have the idol group AKB48. For ayaka, who's been down with her disease this year, this event is expected to be her last one.
