091213 TVXQ Three Members' Act Of Charity

 

▲Three TVXQ members smile again Xiah Junsu, YoungWoong Jaejoong and Micky Yoochun, three members of TVXQ, set up a charitable event with UNICEF on the 12th called 'Love Share - Smile Again' and met with fans. The photo depicts the three receiving an award at MAMA.

A Donation of Love worth 10 million Won is given

YoungWoong Jaejoong, Micky Yoochun, and Xiah Junsu, who are fighting a legal dispute with SM Entertainment, had smiles on their faces for once in a long time.

These three held a charitable event 'Love Share-Smile Again' with a children's organization on the 12th at Koryeo University's Hwajung Gymnasium and met with fans in a long time. This was the first time the three had met with their fans in an official venue since MAMA on Novmeber 21st.

The event that was held for about an hour was held as a fan meeting/charity event. The organizers stated, "This event will be a charity event where fans can meet Jaejoong, Yoochun and Junsu and we want to give the fans a memorable, happy time."

The three members donated 10 million Won to UNICEF in order to help children living in unfortunate conditions during the event. Fans also donated money in donation boxes that were located around the venue.

The members had corners such as the 'Q&A corner' that answered fans' questions and 'Tell Me Your Wish' which granted the audience's wishes and the three members were seem with bright and peaceful expressions as they conversed with their fans.

They said, "We've been in Japan for a while so we didn't get to see you all, and we really, really missed you," and "I think this meeting was meaningful to us because we set this meeting up with a great purpose."

- To be able to finally escape from the shadow of TVXQ, is that maybe the reason of your tears?

“TVXQ might have debuted a little earlier than us, but when it comes to age, they’re my dongsaengs. In fact, TVXQ is a subject at which SuJu has been so envious. Watching the feature of them jumping as the best group in the world only from aside, there was a thought ‘when will our turn be?”

- In relation to that, do you really care about the disbanding crisis of TVXQ?

“Sure, it hurts me too. They’re all my good dongsaengs. Especially Junsu. I’ve been knowing him for 3-4 years since our high school trainee, he has been a friend and a hoobae who shared happiness and sorrow with me. He consulted to me when he faced a difficult problem. I feel that we’re the same and don’t have much difference. I really want them to compromise their hearts to each other.

If we have to talk about groups that have had a big jump in 2009, they are no one other than Tohoshinki and AKB48. Both groups only had one of their singles to rank on the Yearly Top 50 Singles in 2008, but this year, Tohoshinki enters the chart with three singles - "Stand by U" which becomes their highest rank on this chart, grabbing the 21st place, "Share The World/We Are!" (30th place), Bolero/Kiss The Baby Sky/Wasurenaide (49th place). Moreover, their special unit JEJUNG&YUCHUN (from Tohoshinki)'s single "COLORS～Melody and Harmony～/Shelter" also ranks at 32nd place on the chart. Moreover, the unit's single even beats the other 3 singles to create a new record for first sale number. To be achieve things such as to become a promotion face of a Japanese CM, they have worked really hard from being a Korean artist to the point where they are being recognized in Japan, and their hard works have been paid off.
