091207 Tower Records "Artist Of The Year" 2009 Ranking

Tower Records have released their 2009 rankings for best sales as well as the hottest topic for 2009, the rankings for 「ARTIST OF THE YEAR.

For Japanese music, the number one spot goes to Arashi's 『All the BEST! 1999-2009』 and the first spot for English music goes to Green Day for 『21st Century Breakdown』. Also, the 'best' edition for The Beatles, released in September 2009, was recorded in the rankings for 「ARTIST OF THE YEAR.

Arashi, who also attained number one on the HMV end-of-year rankings, similarly had a landslide victory to become number one on Tower Records' ranking. Also, Arashi's 「Believe/曇りのち、快晴」, 『ARASHI AROUND ASIA 2008 in TOKYO』, also attained the first spot in 「J-POP SINGLE」 and 「DVD MUSIC（Japanese Music）」 respectively.

Also, for the rankings in 「ASIA」, the number one spot goes to Tohoshinki's 『Mirotic』.
